Post Unanswered: Oracle 11g Reinstallation failure

    Hi,

I have not properly uninstalled the old files, still the oracle services are available in services.msc. And i don't have my installed folder available now.

I'm not able to install it again, any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

No. You can use the following command to delete services using command prompt in windows.

    Code:
    SC DELETE *servicename*
Think that this might work !!

    Cool

And what about all the registry entries?

You could download the Oracle client and when you run the "setup.exe" program you click on "Installed Programs", select the oracle home you want deleted and click on "remove" and then exit the program -- No need to install the client.
