so Im meant to divine what you actaully want from that description
what wrong row, what should be the 'correct' row

what you got is a combo box that selects one of the tasks for the current record... it doesn't act as a display filter
youve used unbound controls but there is no code to read or write data to the table

the database that is sent just a simulation of what I want to implement in my database, and what I mean by showing the wrong record, for example in the table have carpenters with the value of 12, helper also with value of 12 and mason with a value of 10, if you select helper shows carpenter because it has the same value, I am a beginner in access and I apologize if I can not explain myself better

    Tks

as you are using unbound controls AND you have no code that reads or writes data, that form will NEVER save any changes to data, nor will it allow you to create new rows.

you are not selecting a row form the combo box, but selecting a value
