    Exclamation Unanswered: Database is Block

    I am using BD SDK 10.54 with 5 users.
    About 4 to 5 time per day the share just stop and the server says:

    Database is block.

    ServerTread - Len==SOCKET_ERROR

    Does anyone have an idea whats wrong?

    Regards
    Hennie

    if it is like c++ it could mean that the server application is not correct working with the internal handler threads and/or the network communication.

    Dataloss maybe possible.

    Can be fixed only by Mikhail.

    when you share the database, there is an utility "adb monitor" (or something like that) the automaticly re-starts the database in shared mode for the other users.

    have you used? (you have to configure it at least ones from file menu/database..., and use the password and database name)

    As a test, I would also try disabling power settings on all 5 computers that put their commuters into standby, hibernate, or auto locks their PC.

    If that solves the problem, it's a process of working backwards from there then to try resolve the issue by modifying their PC settings, or having the database kick them off after X amount of time of inactivity.
