Unanswered: What happens to data in the data cache during a power failure

As we understand that the data cache contains the pages that are recently accessed by ASE along with system tables, active log pages and parts of indexes. What happens of the system goes down and what would happen to the data in the data cache?

Datacaches get cleared when a server stops/starts, data that has not yet been written to disk is lost.
If there are finished transactions that are in the transaction log but are not yet written to disk they are rolled forward when the server starts. Unfinished transactions and any changes they may have made are rolled back.
