    Unanswered: Calling SQL Server table from DB2

    All,

    It would be great if someone can share the steps to call sqlserver table from db2 database.

    in these chapters you can find all info about installing settingup nicknames from any source into db2

    Without federation

    Federation is an extra product that you have to pay.

    If you do not want to use it, you can create an external table function in Java (or C) that connects to the remote database and retrieves the data.
    However, this method is just too basic.
