    Unanswered: Hide Status Bar

    Hi,

The version announcement on the BD website Database Software Design and Management - Brilliant Database - News says that a new feature is the "Possibility to hide status bar on startup". I can't find that option anywhere obvious. Does anyone else know where this might be?

    Cheers

The status bar that's at the bottom of the screen?

If so, click on VIEW at the top of the screen. You should see a tick beside "Status Bar" that you can un-tick.

    Hi

Yep but this is to hide it automatically from a compiled application. It is described in the Ultimate new features.

    Hello.

Far as I know it's the same thing. Once you hide it in the Ultimate Edition as explained above, and you don't have the VIEW menu in your compiled app, the status bar will remain invisible.

Just did a quick test and I can verify that's how it works. The Status Bar cannot be seen in the compiled app if you simply disable it in VIEW, and do not include the VIEW menu in your compiled app.
