Angry Unanswered: Display Column totals in ds subform

Hi Guys, i have a subform (frmDataSummaries) on a main form (fmConcertoDataForm). The subform shows row totals of columns ElementGroup, Priority1,Priority2,Priority3 and Priority4. Now i need to show the column totals as well - this needs to be in the subform also.

So basically show Row and Column totals in the subform not on the Main form.

I am trying various googled solutions but no luck yet.

Could some help on this please.

Display Column totals in ds subform

ok ranman256, i have now got original fields in the subform and a copy of the original fields in the subform footer ( eight fields in all ). I have typed in =Sum([Priority1] etc in the controls Control Source property.

The result is nothing showing in the subform when in datasheet Form View.

    Anything else i should do?.

Display Column totals in ds subform

Hi randan256, i have found the solution to this. In A 2007 if you place the cursor in the sub form you can then go to Home>>Records>>Totals and click the button. This will place a column total row at the bottom of the sub form and each column total will have a drop down to choose an option to apply to the calculated total.

Exactly the right answer, many thanks for your input.
