    Unanswered: How to change the caption on Report Load

    Hey Everyone,

    I'm trying to change the "caption" property on a report to include the value of a field within the report and can't seem to get it going. I'm new at VB coding. Currently, the Caption is "Changes and Upgrades". I'd like to include the value within the field [Lot_Number] in front of that text.

    Basically, I'm looking for something like;

    Onload Report.Caption = Lot [Lot_Number] "Changes and Upgrades"

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Dan

    set the caption property in the forms on load event

    me.caption = 'Lot [' & Lot_Number & '] "Changes and Upgrades"'
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

    SOLVED.

    Tweaked your code a little. This did the trick.

    Me.Caption = "Lot" & " " & [Lot_Number] & " " & "Changes and Upgrades"

    Thanks.
