    Unanswered: Negative values on CARD

    Hi,

    When I am trying to fetch count(*) from all the tables on SYSIBM.SYSTABLES for few tables, I can find -ve values .
    But when I query those tables I can find rows in that tables
    The data for those tables are
    db2 => select * from productsupplier

    PID SID
    ---------- ----------
    100-101-01 100
    100-201-01 101

    2 record(s) selected.

    Tables with these kind of data are showing -ve values.

    could you please tell me why this is happening with CARD on tables.

    There is a description of every column (and the meaning of negative values) for the DB2 Catalog tables in the DB2 Documentation. In the PDF manuals, it is contained in an appendix of SQL Reference Vol 1. It is also in the web-based InfoCenter documentation. Please read it.

    Take a look at utilities, especially runstats.
