    Unanswered: Access Report help...

    I have an Access report that I will be having users utilize shortly.

    It is a customer order report and it has orders separated by date/order number. It also has qty required, inventories and qty needed at the end of the row.

    I need the report to subtract the "Cells in stock" from the "Cell Qty Required" for each subsequent line after the first row. As you can see in the attached example, order 58043 has a cell qty required of 72. The Cells In Stock is 146. I need each subsequent row of date to carry over the remaining qty. Order 58246 "should have" 74 Cells in Stock in this example. How do I get the remaining totals (For Cells In Inventory) to carry down to the next row of data in this report.

    This report is for display only and will not affect any queries or tables.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You could in code set a variable
    private mlStock as long

    in ReportHeader OnPrint event, get the current stock
    mlStock = [Stock]

    then after each detail onPrint() event , reduce the mlStock from the Qty field.
    mlStock = mlStock - [Qty]
    'show it in report
    [Stock]= mlStock
