Question Unanswered: Stop Query Values from Changing.

I have an access query in 2003 which has a function that returns an almost random number.

    Count: RandPick(InitialNumber,MaxNumber,TargetNumber)

I have another field based on this result.

    Exclude: iif(Count=0,True, False)

Problem: With the query open, every time a window passes over the Count column it recalculates that random number. However, the Exclude value does not recalculate.

Question: Is there a way to prevent ACCESS from re-evaluating the function (Count) after its open and every time the window is redrawn?
