    Hi Raro,

Not sure what you want here. I would suggest using if-else. You can extract the day of the given date using text formatting like [some_date^date dddd]

    Thanks

    Date1: 01.09.2014
    Date2: 08.09.2014
    Difference: 5 (not 7)

    Date1: 01.09.2014
    Date2: 11.09.2014
    Difference: ?

you can also compare the day name (^date dddd):

    Code:
    [$dur] = datediff([enddate],[startdate].|Day|) (for whatever)
    for [$i] = 0 to [$dur] Step
    	[$newdate] = dateAdd([$fromdate],[$i],|Day|)
    	[$dayname] = [$newdate^date dddd]
    	[$doit] = 1
    	if [$dayname] = "Saturday" Or [$dayname] = "Sunday" then
    		[$doit] = 0
    	End If
    		if [$doit] = "1" then
    			do some stuff with $newdate
    		End If
    	End If
    Next Item
