Unanswered: Problem with HADR - Can anyone help?

    Hello friends,

after activation of HADR on the primary site i am getting this error.

i also created a offline backup of primary site, transfered and restored it on standby site but it keeps telling me this error ... can anyone help?

thanks for your support in advance.

    kind regards,

    Hello,

It wants S0111517.LOG file on primary for remote catchup on standby.
Is this file accessible on primary?
    Regards,

Or does this mean that we can ignore this message?

The most important thing is just to get up the HADR running again ( after we solved the problem of the high activitiy of the database )

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

after restore - check rollforward pending and start hadr again
if same message - take backup online now and immediately restore before deleting any logfiles

You have to have all logs from the beginning of your backup. Your HADR databases will not be able to come to the peer state otherwise.
So, do backup again and make sure that you have all logs starting from the 'Earliest Log' from the 'list history backup' command for your database. If you have to clean up logarchmeth1 on primary - do it only after coping them to the logpath or logarchmeth[1|2] or overflowlogpath (preferred place for that) on standby.
    Regards,
    Mark.
