Unanswered: Crystal Reports won't pass parameter from one SP to another

I have a report that has three linked stored procedures in it. I have the main report and I'm using grouping to show my results. On the first layer, you get a list of values. You choose to expand and see the next level but I can't get the main level parameters to pass to the next level. It always comes back as blank when I browse the data. I've tried it as a subreport as well and I went in and set the parameter values within the linking tool but to no avail. Any suggestions?

I'm surprised you can't get it to work with a subreport?
Are you sure you're assigning the value passed to the *existing* sproc parameter?

As an alternative solution, is there any way you can write a single sproc to serve the same purpose of all three?

Actually, that was the problem. Once I linked the parameters correctly my main report and the first subreport began to work properly. However, I want to drill down three levels. I can't nest a subreport. Can I link two subreports to each other?

Depends what you mean by "link" and "nest".
Can you try and clarify your question.
