    Unanswered: SYSADM for individual user

    Hi,

Can some one tell me how to grant sysadm privilege for a particular user ,not for the whole group.
I have created an user at my windows operating system level & now i need that user to be granted with SYSADM privilege. I need to do this as a single user & i cannot club this new user into a group with original super user.

    Thanks

You cannot. SYSADM instance authority can only be granted to a group

    Hi Habbie,

If you want to give at the Database level to particular user. Use DBADM authority.

    Thanks,
