Unanswered: Automate postcode search from website

    Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to automate searching for an address on the royalmail.com/find-a-postcode website?

The site states that you can do 50 free searches per day and I am wondering if this can be automated? I would need to take a postcode or address line from my database and that to be used as the criteria for the search. The results of the sear could then be displayed in a message box.

Can anyone give me an example of how to do this?

    Thanks,

    John.

my own experience of linking Acces to websites is problematical, so I tend not to use it. but waht you coudl do is downalod the UK postcode file

import that into your app and do a direct search there. granted its not as up to date as the online PAF, but it will probably satisfy nearly all searches

The PAF has to paid for which is a substantial cost. I was really just interested in being able to automate a search on the royal mail website from within the Database.
