    Only SA has an initial blank password. I don't think new logins can be created with a blank password.

    If you're using ASE prior 15.0.2 have a look at this, the null values for the passwords are in the stored procedure.

    If you're using ASE 15.0.2 or above:
    http://www.sypron.nl/quiz2013a.html#jun13

    You can then query for accounts with the following SQL:

    select name from syslogins where password = 0xc007581afdc491f31883b9fed0ab17c86182a9844dced6d0 a54e8e9ee479b21ad57f6269c054b3ba8572
    go

    name
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    my_login

    (1 row affected)

    And just to show this really is a login with no-password:

    richard@lhkg010ltp:~$ isql -U my_login -S lhkg010ltp_sql -P
    1> select suser_name()
    2> go

    ------------------------------------------------------------
    my_login

    (1 row affected)
