    Hi,

Can some one tell me the exact difference between the db2 UDB & db2 LUW. I am totally confused with this terminology.

DB2 UDB was what DB2 LUW was called prior to version 8, I believe.

It still is UDB. UDB stands for Universal DataBase. Then there are different flavors of UDB. You can have a little side of UDB for LUW or you can get a heaping plateful of UDB for Z/OS.
