Unanswered: Inherited some databases, which might be useless now.

    Hello,

As the username suggests, I am the proud inheritor of a couple of databases used for some labview projects & applications. My C drive had to be wiped recently and I held onto the databases. They each are in a separate directory, and contain 3 tables each. All good up to this point. My problem, however, resides in the fact that I have installed MySQL workbench and I cannot seem, for the love of me, to find them in order to be able to import them and use them.
All of the table files have the extensions .opt or .frm. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Thank you for your help and I apologize if this has already been discussed at length. I didn't seem to find help anywhere.
Also, I apologize for any and all grammar mistakes as english is not my mother tongue.

    sorry to disappoint but
.frm is a table format / definition file
.opt is the the db server options file
based on that I don't think you have the actual data

you should be able to import the frm file into workbench, well at least according to:-
    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/e...rt-import.html
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
