    Unanswered: SQL Server Security Issue?

    Challenge:
Connecting to SQL Server. No linked tables.

Code snippet used to make the connection:

    90 Set rs_Temp = New ADODB.recordset

    100 With rs_Temp
    110 Set .ActiveConnection = rs_Cnn
    120 .Source = SQLStatement
    130 .LockType = adLockOptimistic
    140 .CursorType = adOpenDynamic
    150 .CursorLocation = adUseClient
    160 .Open
    170 End With

    180 Set FormRS = rs_Temp

The data displays correctly in the form.
Using SQL Server version 2012 Express the data on the form is editable.
Using SQL Server version 2008 Express the data is read-only.

Is this a security setting in server?

did you try putting the connection in the ODBC , via Control Panel, sytem & security, admin tools, ODBC source admin.?
put your connection in this to add tables?

The connection is working (the data displays in the form)

I went back and checked the 2008 Version...
PKs and FKs had been dropped during the copying process

    It works now
    What a dummy :-(
