Unanswered: How to Backup a db2 databse with expired license

    Hello

Two months ago I installed db2 enterprise server edition (9.7.3) on one server (is a normal PC) and my license was expired.

The problem is that I want to export the database but I can't make backup because I can't access to the DB.

I know that I should buy the license, but I'm a student and I can't buy any license.

How could I export my database?

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

I can't use export command because I can't connect to my BD

If I try to make export I have the following message:

SQL1024N A database connection does not exists. SQLSTATE=08003

and if i try to connect to my BD:

SQL8001N an atttemp to connect to the databse failet due to a product license problem. SQLSTATE = 42968.

    What can I do?

    Thanks!

You could try installing DB2 Express-C (which is free and which I think you should have used in the first place, being a student) then cataloging your existing database in the Express-C instance.

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.
