Unanswered: Update query is slow with merge replication

    Hello friend,

I have a database with enabling merge replication.
Then the problem is update query is taking more time.
But when I disable the merge triggers then it'll update quickly.

I really appreciate your quick response

    Thanks.

    How big is the update?
How many rows does it affect / how long does it take without the merge triggers disabled?

    Hi friends,

Ii is very simple update just effect only a single element but it take time.
But when disable three merge triggers on a table then it run quickly.

    Yesterday I found following data.

    select count(*) from msmerge_contents with(tablockx)
    select count(*) from MSmerge_genhistory with(tablockx)

    msmerge_contents returns 745 562 rows
    MSmerge_genhistory returns 3459 365 rows

That means MSmerge_genhistory is having more tham 3 million data.
Does it reason for slow updates?
If yes what is the best way to clear them?

    Thanks
