    Unanswered: catalog cache overflow

    Hi ,

In db2diag.log, message "ADM4000W A catalog cache overflow condition has occurred. " have been appearing for almost a year.

Recently I often get "no memory available " message, then DB2 database eventually runs out of memory and I have to restart the database every 2 or 3 days.

Does this catalog cache the root cause of the memory issue?

    Thanks,
    Dixie

    many questions :
    platform/level
physical memory - other applications running on same host ?
free ? if linux or something in windows
how many instances/databases per instance ?
memory usage by db/instance (db2top or something..)
