    Unanswered: View filter criteria, Access 2010

    Someone else set up a filter for me (in the Forms view) and I want to see the criteria on which the filter has been built because there seems to be a bit of a problem with the number of records that have been filtered. I can't seem to find the conditions of the filter. Can you help?

    Thanks
    Jules

    if you are viewing the recordset in a form, set your conditions then

    docmd.filter = "[smoker]=true and [state]='CA'"
    docmd.filteron = true

    Me.Filter should return the current filter; is that what you mean? You could use it in a button or the Double-Click event of a Textbox.
    Hope this helps!

    The problem with making anything foolproof...is that fools are so darn ingenious!
