    Unanswered:

    Have you tried to get IBM's sample SQL PL procedures running?

    These are in the SAMPLES subdirectory on your DB2 server installation directory.

    When asking for help, always give your DB2-version+fixpack and Operating-System name.

    DB2 Express-C latest version.

    This has nothing to do with the sample db this is my db I cannot create a basic stored proc, what is going on here.

    Your syntax is invalid.
    Ensure whatever tool you are using to compile the sproc is configured with matching statement terminator character.
    The sample file rsultset.db2 gives a working example.

    Sorry, that was a typo. The statement that I am running DOES have the create procedure statement. It still doesn't work. See above.
