Unanswered: Error while connecting to DB from Linux server

We are trying to connect DB2 database from a linux server, and we have catalogued the database details as below

db2 catalog tcpip node DB2RT remote server 12345
    db2 catalog database DB2RT as DB2RT at node DB2RT
And we have done db2terminate to reflect the changes in directories.
    Now we have entry in
    db2 list db directory
    db2 list node directory
We when try to connect to db using command:
db2 connect to DB2RT user xxxx we get the below error once it asks for password
SQL30061N The database alias or database name "DB2RT " was not
found at the remote node. SQLSTATE=08004
Can someone please help on this.

    Thank u

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
