    Unanswered: Instance Start but fails on connect db2 9.5 fixpack 10

    looking to see if I can get this instance functional without a db restore. This immediately after my attempt to connect to database from the db2diag file.

    more details would be welcome
    restore ? type of backup ? same location - new ? log control file seems to have a problem
    drop the db - clean leftovers and restore - rollforword....
