Make links stand out a bit better

Using links is one of the easiest ways to help people when they run into common, or hard-to-search-for problems. Maybe it is just the way Firefox renders the page, but it seems to me that links don't really show up very well. I have recently taken to underlining links to make them stand out a bit better, but we could easily end up with many people having many different ways of making their links stand out. Is there any way that links can be made to stand out a bit better than they do currently? Automatic underlining, or make the color a bit more of a contrast with the blue/black scheme?

its a problem with chrome as well as firefox. I'm guessing the CSS rule is borked or inadequately tested
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

Ahh, thanks, Healdem. I was afraid it affected all browsers. I only ever use IE for SharePoint, nowadays.
