Dear Forum,

I am beginning a project at work whereby I am going to be working on connecting/syncing a newly created MYSQL installation we with a SQL Anywhere 10 database we have running on another machine (same network). I have the IP, DSN, Username, Password, Port and other information, I've installed the MYSQL ODBC driver and it is working correctly, but am having a difficult time finding documentation about actually connecting MYSQL to SQL Anywhere 10 with an ODBC connector, and then additionally syncing information between them.

Can anyone indicate a good direction or starting point? I have read through some of the documentation at and but most of the information there uses sysbase software. I'd prefer connecting from the MYSQL command line or PHPMYADMIN, but am having a difficult time understanding where to start.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks for the forum!
Kind Regards,
Ben David
