I'm new to Access and in the process of developing my first database. I'm not sure how to set up the relationship between the tables and would appreciate any help. Also I'm guessing Access creates an automatic foreign key on other than the primary tables.
This is about children/young persons who live in Out of Home Care. So the main table is about the person and each person has a unique number which I thought could be used as the primary key. Other tables relate to the person such as education>health>case planning etc.,. Now one of these tables relating to the person will be 'carer' and relating to the carer other than the person will be some additional tables such as authorisation >carer reviews>training etc.,
Can someone give me an idea as to how I should/could set up the relationship. Bearing in mind that the person may change from one carer to another so this needs to be easy to change when required.
