    Unanswered: Variance between 2 columns

    Hello,

can someone please let me know how to find variance between 2 columns 'Price1' and 'Price2'. find variance between price1 and price2

select variance(price1) from table1 where company = 'xxx'. gives me aggregate variance on price1

select variance(price2) from table1 where company = 'xxx'. gives me aggregate variance on price2

select variance(price1) over (order by dateadded desc) var where company = 'xxx'. gives me cumulative variance on price1.

how do I find variance between price1 and price2 (2 columns).

    Thanks
    Pavan

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
