Unanswered: Get Number of records in a folder

Is there a easy way to get the number of records in 80 different folders? I wrote a routine that does it but
was wondering if there is a simplier way.

    Need more information.
Are all the records you want to count the same kind of form, or are they different types of forms.

If they are the same type of form, two lines of code will do this.

Same form but different folders. I have about 80 folders in this baseball card database. Since I keep a folder with the links to the folders I am able
to get the number of cards in each folder through this routine I wrote. Thought there may be a simplier way that I cannot see.

    OK, see attached file.
I added a button to the Tool Bar for you to press that counts all the records across all the folders.

    Hi Joe.
Yes, learning how to do things the hard way is always worth the effort.

Queries are extremely powerful in brilliant database and can simplify he most complicated tasks greatly, especially when recordset can work directly with them.

    Regards
    James
