    Unanswered: Remove Duplicate Words from String

    I am new to MySQL, trying to find a solution for removing duplicate words from string.

    Example:
    Code:
    RANCH HOUSE HOUSE SALOON & GRILL
    ABC STORE ABC STORE
    Expected Output:

    Code:
    RANCH HOUSE SALOON & GRILL
    ABC STORE
    Plese help me.

    Im not sure this is possible by query unless you know the mechanism of how the duplication occurred in the first place.
    even if you do understand that mechanism i suspect thr time taken to develop the query, debug it, then run the query, then check the resultant data for consistency will be more than a manual check, changing each line as required.
    you could probably develop some query to identify riws with duplicate words but personslly i think automating the whole process will be a step to far.
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
