    Unanswered: Advanced copy services

    DB2 10.5 FP1 on SUSE Linux 11 PL 2
    Trying to set up advanced copy services but getting this when executing sqllib/acs/setup.sh
    ================================================== =
    #db2dbai1@collins-dev10 ~/sqllib/acs>
    ./setup.sh

    checking /db2/db2_home/db2dbai1/sqllib/acs/acsnnas ...
    /db2/db2_home/db2dbai1/sqllib/acs/acsnnas: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    No valid acs agent found. Aborting.
    =====================================

    The doco stipulates this....
    Before installing ACS, you must have the following libraries installed:
    ln -s libssl.so.0.9.7xxx libssl.so.0.9.7
    ln -s libcrypto.so.0.9.7xxx libcrypto.so.0.9.7
    ln -s libssl.so.0.9.7xxx libssl.so
    ln -s libssl.so.0.9.7xxx libssl.so.0

    but we are at a higher level of libssl.so.0.9.8

    libssl.so.0.9.8 is a requirement for higher fixpack level of DB2 10.5 but we can't move at the moment

    Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, can they give me a pointer to a workaround please.

    thanks

    Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
