Question Answered: Access Query, Combo box results

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for coming to read. I am using a combo-box to populate other fields on a form, which I got from another post on this forum. The issue I seem to have is that no matter if it is a query or a table I am sourcing data from, the Town field in the combo is always a number and not the data I am expecting. The Field shows the string in the table and the query table but in the combo all other fields are fine but the Town field shows the ID number and not the corresponding Town name.
So in the Table or Query I

    Street Prospect Phone Township
13 Bradford Rd, Mary 7323339988 Howell

    In the Combo I see
    13 Bradford Rd, Mary 7323339988 12

Any ideas? Township Field is populated on form from table called Township.
    Using Access 2013.

    Thanks so much
    Darren

In the combo box Do you see the word Howell but in the table u see the its ID

if so then its your Bound Column of the combo-box is pointing to the wrong column number

Thank you for your reply. It's the other way round. All good in tables and even query tables but when creating combo after selection of fields and sort order the township fields show as numbers in the column view.

    Hope this clarifies.
    Thx so much

Problem was solved by not using a look up wizard and instead using a query from the Table. Thanks so much for your input and advise.
