## Unanswered: Searching for missing values

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem where i have 2 columns both containing hundreds of order numbers. However, there are supposed to be the same amount and same order numbers in both of these columns. However, there are some orders that are missing from one of the columns so i need to find out which ones are missing.

So what excel function would i need to use ? 1 column has all of the orders and the other is missing 37, i need to find these 37 orders in the column containing all the orders.

Thank you all !!

VLookup() or CountIfs() would be where I'd start.

= match(column b row 1, column a the whole set define the array, 0)

Or you could select columns and then use conditional formatting to select find duplicates then filter by the non red cells (with no fill) and that will show you the missing order numbers.
