    Unanswered: Issue with DB2 installation

    Hello Guys,

    I am installing TDS 6.1 and DB2 is installed as a part of that installation. DB2 installation is failing the error message I am seeing in the DBInstalltrace log is

    I am running the installer as "Administrator" so there is no issue of permissions here. I am running out ideas on solving this. Can someone point to me in the right direction to sovling this issue?

    Open a PMR with IBM, as the DB2 version+fixpack that is bundled with TDS 6.1 is not known to me. Others reported this issue (see Google) but the resolution is not publicly available as far as I can tell.

    If you don't have a support contract, it's possible that you need to use a higher version of TDS (higher than 6.1) or a lower version of Windows (you did not post which edition/version of Windows you are using).
