    Exclamation Unanswered: Error in silent installation of db2 9.7 in linux

    Hi

    i installed db2 v9.7 in my linux system with generating a response file and when i deistalled it and again tried with my response file it showing an error the command not found for every step in installation. can anyone solve this .

    Hi Laxman,

    When i start executing my response file. from the line 1 onwards it is showing as "command not found " error
    and my linux version is 3.8.13x86_64 Redhat 4.8.

    You are actually executing the response file, not the db2setup program?
    ---
    "It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.

    no i executed my reponse file like this

    ./db2setup -r 'path_of_response_file.rsp'

    But still the error follows as "command not found"

    Check which is the account that runs the db2setup command, and what are the PATH and environment settings for that account at the time you run the db2setup -r... command.

    You can also use the db2setup command-line options -l logfile -t tracefile to get more information about what is happening.
