I did some performance tunning to a Stored Procedure but it is still running too slow.
Then what I did is to run in parallel the same stored procedure. With 2 instance the time pass from 20 minutes to 11 minutes.
But if I put 4 instance, the time stay at 11 min. There are no lock table between each instance.
Someone know how I can monitor the db2 server, to see how many instance is working in the same time, the IO of each instance and
all those thinks ?
what about db2level and platform
dpf I presume - same machine ? different machines ?
is table present in all partitions ?
some info about query and ddl - maybe explain output ....

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
