    Hi all,

I have a double precession column in my DB2 table and when i try to retrieve the field it is being displayed in Scientific/Exponential format.
When i try to display it in normal form it rounds off the data after the 16th digit.
I tried using char/cast/convert/decimal/decfloat but none worked.

Can anyone help me in retrieving the complete value of the float.
also i have seen the following in the DB2 documentation. [ link ]
    Is it true ??
    Refer the attachment too..

Any info this is also helpful..

    Thanks in advance.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
