    Unanswered: PCKCACHESZ and STMM

    Hi all

    I have a 10.5 Database running on Linux 13.1
I don't really understand why the highwater mark for coordinating agents is 713 if the parameter MAX_COORDAGENTS is 200 (this parameter is set to AUTOMATIC) and SELF_TUNING_MEM is OFF

    Could someone help to understand?

    Thanks
    Renaud

srvdb2:dmsprd> db2 get snapshot for dbm | grep -i high
Private Sort heap high water mark = 0
High water mark for agents registered = 713
High water mark for coordinating agents = 713
High water mark (bytes) = 316735488
High water mark (bytes) = 26869760
High water mark (bytes) = 14155776

srvdb2:dmsprd> db2 get dbm cfg | grep MAX_
Max number of coordinating agents (MAX_COORDAGENTS) = AUTOMATIC(200)
Max number of client connections (MAX_CONNECTIONS) = AUTOMATIC(MAX_COORDAGENTS)
Number of pooled fenced processes (FENCED_POOL) = AUTOMATIC(MAX_COORDAGENTS)
    SPM resync agent limit (SPM_MAX_RESYNC) = 20
Maximum query degree of parallelism (MAX_QUERYDEGREE) = ANY
Max number of node connection retries (MAX_CONNRETRIES) = 5
Max time difference between nodes (min) (MAX_TIME_DIFF) = 60
    srvdb2:dmsprd>

The current value (for Max_Coordagents) is 200 but it is automatic so can rise and fall as demand changes.
The HWM value is since the instance started last time
