Exclamation Unanswered: Date Range from Unbound text box...... Getting #name? Error

I have a report that gives information based on a date range you enter into a form, which then opens the report. I would like to have the date range on the report.
    I have the expression written as follows. =[Forms]![F-riderdaterange]![StartDate] & "through" & [Forms]![F-riderdaterange]![EndDate]

When the report is ran, this section shows the #Name? error. Click image for larger version.

The startdate/enddate boxes on the form are unbound. I do have macros on the buttons of the form, (opening report/closing form...)

No variation i have tried for the date range works.....

    Does anyone have a clue>?

(i am very new to database building)

Is "EndDate" the TEXTBOX name on the form?...
do NOT give the field name in the table the text box point to.

I put my dates on the report too.
    control source = forms!frmReports!txtDateStart

My text boxes on the form are StartDate and EndDate, They are unbound, they do not point to any table.
