    Unanswered: Bringing data from a form over to a report

    Hey guys, I've been working on a database for a small company and have run into a problem, one of the features is a quotation system, when filling out the form to generate a report it is fully functional apart from one thing.

    When the report is generated from this form the "Units Of" field is not carried over to the report and this happens.

    If anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated.

    so where should the data be coming from
    the most likely cause is a typo or you are using the wrong datsource for the specified colukn

    so check the data
    check the columns names
    check to see if the item is ther

    if it sin't and this report is triggered fromt he form then you can pull the value fromt eh form, assumign its still open by 'reading' the value fromt eh form within the reports on format event.

    myreportcontrol.text = forms!myformname!myformscontrol.value
    replace the mywahtever with whatever your form, and controls are called with the correct names
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

    I've just double and triple checked all the names and they're all spelled correctly.

    For the data storage all of the products for the quotes are stored in this table.

    All of the data is being pulled through correctly apart from the "UnitsOf"

    For the report all of the control sources are just the name of the field from that table with nothing else added.

    What code are you using for your 'Print Quote' button? This kind of problem is usually the result of the the Current Record not being saved before the Report is called.
