    can you identify the agent/application
any specific problem with this appl ?
is there any tool forcing off idle connections ?

you need/have to get off V8. You should at least apply Fixpack 18 which is still available at FixCentral

While you are dealing with Guy's questions you need to get fixpack 18 and apply it anyway. On unsupported software you should at least be at the highest fix level possible. If this is a real production system you are facing a lot of issues as you can't migrate from V8 to V10. You will have to go via 9.7 as 9.5 is now unsupported.

Well, I would have said open a service request with IBM and send them the output of the db2support command ...... but you can't as you have no support
