    Unanswered: Calling Sybase Stored Procedure within Windows Batch job and create a Excel File

    Hi Experts I am completely new to Windows Batch Job and Sybase. I have been assigned a Task below. 1. There is a Sybase Stored Procedure which has two Input Paramters (From_Date & To_Date) 2. I will have to call this Procedure within a Windows Batch Job 3. The Windows Job will execute the Stored Procedure 4. Create a Excel File with the data returned

    Can you please help me how to accomplish this.

    Regards Praveen

    the simplest way is to create a sql file calling the stored procedure and command it using batch windows like below command

    @echo off
    isql -Uuser -Ppassword -Sservername -i"sprco.sql" -o"sproc_log.txt"

    save it to notepad with .bat extension and then run.
