    Unanswered: HADR Primary is thinking that its a standby databse

    I have a situation where both the nodes in the HADR setup are standby. My primary database is thinking its a standby one & not accepting any requests. However the applications are able to connect to the database. Please help

    Setup details: DB2 V9.5 fp 8 on AIX64 bit

    tsa installed ?
    takeover executed ? not finished ?
    what happened ?
    if both are standby : you can NOT connect
    finally if no tsa involved : rollforward the primary : rollforward db xxx to end of logs and complete

    Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

    Im, not exactly sure how this has happened. Not TSA is involved in this one. rollforward is failing too with the following error.
    SQL1776N The command cannot be issued on an HADR standby database. Reason
    code = "1".

    Also when i give the db2pd -hadr its saying hadr is not active.
