About Our Client
Headquartered in Warwickshire, NFU Mutual is a leading mutual insurance business with over 300 branches and 900,000 customers across the UK. Since their inception by National Farmers Union members in 1910, they have dramatically increased their insurance product offering and customer base while retaining the values associated being a mutual business and its affiliation with the agricultural sector.
With a number of ongoing transformation projects and increasing investment into Business Intelligence and Data management processes, NFU Mutual is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Delivery Manager to spearhead the business' increasing BI capability.
Sitting within the company's Finance division, NFU Mutual's Business Intelligence team supports the business with analysis and presentation of data. The team also delivers financial information, Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators to senior team members, external partners and governing bodies. The Business Intelligence Delivery Manager will hold the following responsibilities:
Managing the work-flow and performance of a talented team of analytical professionals through the timely delivery of BI reporting, financial analysis and development activities
Working closely with senior stakeholders and end users to identify and understand the reporting requirements - being sure to challenge, where necessary, to ensure relevant data and analysis is conducted based on business need
Perform detailed process mapping of existing systems to fully understand their capabilities, shortfalls and areas for further improvement
In partnership with IT, translate the business reporting requirements into tangible, technical deliverables in both the front end reporting systems and database structures
Educate others in the BI function's importance and capabilities, in integrating into wider corporate transformation projects and initiatives
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role of Business Intelligence Delivery Manager, candidates should adhere to the following criteria:
A track record of successfully delivering data analytics and reporting solutions including the use of advanced analytical techniques
Ability to lead managing a team of talented technical professionals
A highly accomplished communicator, with the ability to liaise with, build relationships with and influence technical and lay senior stakeholders alike
A breadth of technical expertise across a number of data-focused technologies including databases (eg. SQL Server), reporting tools (eg. SAP Business Objects) and data visualisation platforms (eg. PowerBI)
A wider knowledge of market trends and technical advancements in BI
Lives in commutable distance from south Warwickshire
Degree educated (or equivalent) in mathematics or another quantitative subject.
Exposure to the Financial Service sector.

Our client is offering a competitive salary with attractive company benefits package as per the below.
£50,000 - £55,000 basic salary
Up to 25% annual bonus
Up to 12% employer pension contributions
