    Unanswered: insert images in database

Greetings, I have read about and tried the attachments field in Access 2016. I cannot figure it out. The help available is it's normal obtuse self. So, the first question is can an image be stored in a database. I have a database with members information. I would like to store a picture of each member in the database. The second question, if it can be done, how does one go about it? Thanks, Scott

can an image be stored in a db... yes
    should you?
..well the jury is out on that one. there are good reasons for and against
personally I dont' like storing images INSIDE a db, but do some searching and make up your own mind
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

the aim is store once, not store multiple times
