    Utf-8

    Hello,

your csv-file contains byte sequences which are not defined in UTF-8. That says the error message. That happens when you have bytes from above the ASCII-range, that is higher than 127 - e.g. umlauts, signs with carets, cedils etc.

In that case tell the database the correct encoding. If you use psql then enter \encoding followed with the correct encoding.
