A question that concerns us currently is the classification of support databases in oracle license terms.

As a background: We are a software company that is developing applications based on oracle DBs. We are oracle gold partner and using the development licenses for our internal developers.

As we are selling also the licenses with our application, we would like to know, how to interprete a support DB.
We have a DB, where we import DB-Dumps from the customer in case of problems/tests/failures of their productive DBs.

Does that belong more to productive DBs in our own terms or is it development, as we also develop hot fixes etc. on that DB?
